case study
Health Camp Planner turns a repetitive healthcare administration workflow—duty allocation, roster preparation and official circular generation—into a focused web application.
The challenge
Recurring camp schedules look simple until people, session dates, staffing rules, revisions and official documentation have to stay consistent. Manual spreadsheets and document editing create repeated work and make corrections harder to track.
What I built
- Structured duty-roster planning around camp dates and team composition
- Reusable people and role data instead of retyping names in each circular
- Official circular generation from the same underlying roster data
- DOCX/PDF-oriented document workflows with signatory and verification areas
- Revision, preview and test-record cleanup tools
- A standalone micro-app experience delivered from the main WordPress installation
Product approach
The app follows a narrow-product principle: solve one recurring operational burden completely, keep the interface focused on the people doing that work, and package the functionality as an independent plugin-rendered experience under the main website.
Why it matters
Small internal healthcare workflows often consume disproportionate administrative time. A focused micro-app can remove repetitive document work without requiring a large ERP implementation.
